About Me

I'm Josh. I'm a product manager by trade, an AI tinkerer by obsession, and a builder of things by default.

How I got here

I've spent most of my career in product management, working in highly regulated industries where "move fast and break things" isn't really an option. That taught me to think in systems, communicate across functions, and care deeply about the details that keep things running.

When AI tools started getting good, I went all in. Not as a hobby. As a workflow. I started rebuilding how I work from the ground up: folder systems, memory layers, voice-first input, agent workflows. The results were dramatic enough that I started sharing what I was learning.

That's how this site happened. It started as a place to track my own experiments and turned into something other people found useful too.

Why this site exists

This is my personal workshop. It's where I document what I'm learning, ship side projects, and share the stuff that's actually working for me. Nothing here is sponsored or theoretical. If I write about a tool, I use it daily. If I share a workflow, I've tested it on real work.

What you'll find here

AI Learnings

Notes, quick takes, and deeper dives on AI tools and workflows I use every day.

Projects

Side projects I'm building, from this site to tools and experiments.

Journeymen

A guide for nonprofits and small teams getting started with AI automation.

Everything Else

Books, podcasts, hot takes, and the rabbit holes I fall into.

Outside of work

I read a lot, collect too many podcasts, play Magic: The Gathering (badly, but enthusiastically), and spend an unreasonable amount of time tweaking my AI setup. My wife and I share a Claude Cowork account for joint projects like finances, which is either the most romantic thing you've ever heard or deeply concerning, depending on your perspective.

Want to talk?

I'm always up for conversations about AI tools, product management, or whatever you're building.
